CAUTION: AUDIO MIGHT BE A LITTLE LOUD!
My midterm project for my 2D Flash Animation class which I presented today. The project was supposed to be a kind of animated Greeting Card, but I had computer problems and spent all my time in class working on the animation, so I didn't get a chance to add any text to make it a Greeting Card. I love how it turned out, though I would have loved to put more work into it, and I hope one day I can make an animation for the whole song~
I'm planning on posting my Final project once its finished, but I need to sit down and figure out what its going to be first. Until then, I should have a sketchdump or two up sometime this weekend along with, maybe, a few pictures of some stuff I've been working on in my other art classes.
I drew almost everything in PainToolSai using this custom Crayon tool:

The ship was traced from a stock photo from Google, only because I didn't have time to design one in class.
The song is The Mermaid by Great Big Sea, I do not own or claim any rights to the song.
The drawings, characters and animation are all copyrighted by me, and you do not have permission to post this animation anywhere other than Deviantart.
This animation was made possible through my college animation class.
